Our watermaker is built as a basic, manually operated machine that makes fresh water out of sea water.
We assembled and tested our own design, a straightforward, solid, maintenance-friendly and low budget device that we use ourselves without electronics and little parts.

The parts can be fitted apart fom each other, as the high pressure pump comes with 2 meters of high pressure hose that allows the pressurevessel to be placed where most convenient and the noisy pump to be placed in a seperate (enclosed) space.
The unit has no pre-pump system, the high-pressure pump is a 1200W pressurewasher pump, installed under the waterline and only low-grade pre-filtering comes standard as most cruisers use the watermaker at open sea and clear bays.

And all it does is make water, lots of it. The models put out between 35 and 120 liters per hour, depending on environment (salinity, temperature) and setup (single, double).
